An eight-year-old cancer patient's letter to God changes the life of an ususpecting doctor.
Jake Carswell lost his wife to cancer, and now faces the same reality with their
eight-year-old daughter Anibel. He lost the better part of his years spending
time in hospitals. He lost his job. He lost his money to doctors fighting a fight
they could not win. Jake was a strong, healthy man, who was dying inside. Anibel
was too young to concern herself with adult responsibilities, though she was wise
beyond her years. She was dying, but she was full of life.
Though Anibel has never been anywhere, she could travel anywhere she wanted to go
with her vivid imagination. The mountains were her favorite.
One day by chance, a woman stumbles upon a letter to God. After reading the heartfelt
words of the child, Reyenne knew she had to meet the little girl who wrote it.
Her investigation into the letter's author led her to Anibel. It also led her to Jake
and he to her.
