WHAT IS THE 48 HOUR FILM PROJECT?
Each year cities around the world compete in the 48 Hour Film Project. The event is held over a weekend. When the event begins, teams draw a genre out of a hat and are assigned a character, prop, and line of dialogue that must be in the film. Then teams have just 48 hours to write, shoot, edit and submit a short film!
In 2023 we drew "Buddy Film" as the genre. We were assigned "Joseph Leadbetter, Inspector" as a character, "tweezers" as a prop, and the line: "Who wants to know?"
